We’ve been here a couple of times and it’s definitely worth going to if you’re in the area and they have availability, but I will say we didn’t love it as much others seem to have. There was nothing wrong and everything is good, but it’s just good.
It’s a pretty small place, so one big group or a few extra diners fills the place up quickly. In fact, one time we tried to go, the entire place was booked out by a group of 20 people or so. As such, you may want to make reservations or see if they have availability before you go in.
There aren’t decorations, it’s pretty no frills, but it’s comfortable and clean. The tables are a light wooden color and the walls are white. Everyone had recommended the noodles here, saying it was the best they’d eaten in London. Well we didn’t really feel that way. The yaki soba was good, but not amazing and pretty much on par with many of the other places we’ve tried. Kappa maki rolls are good, but I think a bit over stuffed with rice.
It’s solid food, but not spectacular.
