Trampoline Jumping Arena

Oxygen Freejumping (4)This place is a great time if you’re up for bringing out your inner kid. It’s a 30,000 sq. ft. indoor trampoline park in which you can just bounce around and play. Here’s how it works:

  1. You book a time online in advance. Booking in advance is highly recommended as there are a limited number of people who can jump at any given time and peak times (weekends or afternoons) can sell out weeks in advance.
  2. One hour is £12.50 and there are slots available daily from 11 am to 9 pm. You can extend your visit by booking consecutive hours.
  3. You must have what they call trampoline socks in order to jump, so these are £2 extra, though you can keep these for your subsequent visits.
  4. Just before the hour strikes and a new group of jumpers is allowed into the park, an inaudible safety video is played and then everyone is let in. There is a huge timer inside that tells you how many minutes of your hour is left.

There are locker rooms where you can change and store bags. There are also lockers on the ground floor. These are all free of charge. They have showers and bathrooms, but no towels, so bring your own.

You should know that it will be 90% kids, teens, and young adults, though there are always a group of adults, usually guys, who are really serious about jumping and have turned it into an art form. They do all kinds of tricks and take it really seriously. It’s a bit like skateboarding pros.

The experience is super fun and a great workout though you don’t realize it. There are tons of floor trampolines, side trampolines, a few obstacle course type things (balancing beam, monkey bars, swinging ropes), a trampoline basketball area, and a continuous game of trampoline dodgeball. It’s two floors, though the bottom floor is larger. There is staff all around to keep an eye on safety concerns, though everything is pretty soft and padded.

Oxygen Freejumping (2)There is a “viewing platform,” which oversees the jumping area for those who just want to watch and that’s also where the cafe is located. The cafe serves packaged snacks, sandwiches, and drinks. There are also rooms on the second floor for private birthday parties.

The place is located in West Acton and is accessible by the tube or bus plus a bit of a walk, but it’s easier to just drive if you’re able. Overall, it’s a different, fun experience that’s worth giving a go!
