This is a gem of a place located in Streatham and serves authentic, fantastic quality Neapolitan pizza. It’s a tiny place, so you really need to make a reservation or risk being turned away or waiting a while. Tables are close together and there’s not much décor, but it’s a nice, rustic, simple pizza joint.
The servers are super friendly, checking in with you at appropriate times, and not rushing you away even though it’s a small, busy place.
Marinara – tomato, garlic, oregano. Tomato sauce is fantastic quality, the crust is delicious (thick, soft, chewy), and there’s just the right amount of garlic and oregano.
Margherita – tomato, mozzarella, basil. This pizza was cooked perfectly, which means that the mozzarella melted just enough to incorporate itself into the tomato sauce and dough, forming that ideal blend of flavors and textures. The mozzarella was good quality, moist, and flavorful.
This is definitely one of the best Neapolitan pizzerias in all of London and we’d strongly encourage you to give it a try if you’re anywhere in the vicinity. Particularly in service, it is miles above the nearby Addomme (our review here), and you won’t be disappointed. Loved it.
